Fast & Furious’ Hobbs & Shaw is in theatres. And its lit.

Fast & Furious franchisee’s Hobbs & Shaw released this Thursday and has already set the ring on fire. The movie has collected around $25M in the first 2 days at offshore box office and heading for a weekend worth $57M. That has already set benchmarks now.

Hobbs & Shaw has a much celebrated Star Cast in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jason “Transporter” Statham, Vannessa Kirby and Roman “The Big Dawg” Reigns. Considering how popular The Rock is around the world, thanks to his stint with WWE as People’s Champ, it came as no surprise that the movie will make it big. Roman Reigns too is an immensely popular WWE Superstar and the founding member of SHIELD – The Hounds of Justice.

The movie is set to make big leaps over the next couple of weeks and will probably tempt the franchisee to bring up the sequel.

Speaking of prospective movie plots, Jason Statham dropped a hint about a sequel for the Italian Job when he told Hobbs that he used his mini cooper for a “Job in Italy”. Will that happen? Dwayne too will be seen again on the big screen in DC’s Black Adam.
