A Little Bit Pregnant: Danielle New Netflix Family Series

The 30-year-old actress revealed in July that she is pregnant with her first child with an unnamed partner, and now she has announced a new Netflix Family YouTube series, ‘A Little Bit Pregnant’, in which she shows her baby shower to reveal the sex of her unborn tot.

The four episodes will document the former ‘Orange is The New Black’ star’s entire pregnancy experience. She teased: “Doulas, midwives, experts — I’m gonna be talking to them all. First up: my baby shower.” The series, consisting of 8 to 10-minute episodes, will also debunk common misconceptions about pregnancy including dietary restrictions for expectant moms and the postpartum experience. Clips from her bash show the actress and her mystery beau arriving in all-white outfits — and sitting on a golden throne as their guests mingle around them. At the party, Brooks also receives some exciting news about the sex of her baby on the way. During a number by a group of dancers, also clad in all white, the performers blast cannons that release pink confetti into the air, signifying that the actress will be welcoming a girl.

On September 25, 2019, Netflix has published a trailer along with a short description, “Orange Is the New Black’s Danielle Brooks is back with Netflix Family for a new social series – A Little Bit Pregnant. Danielle is pregnant for the first time and she’s getting answers to all your new mom questions: What’s the deal with doulas? What can you really eat? How do you know you’re in labor? She’s talking to healthcare providers, experts, nurses and of course real moms to get the scoop on all things pregnancy and beyond.” There is no official release date and the poster available, follow this space for more updates.
