Netflix Original Anime ‘Eden’ Season One: Plot and Trailer
Eden is the first Netflix Japanese Original Anime series created by Justin Leach. The series will be directed by the renowned Yasuhiro Irie, most well-known for directing the incredible Full Metal Alchemist series. The exciting sci-fantasy will be coming to Netflix in 2020 but there’s no confirmation what month EDEN will be released.
Set in a far off future and a world which has been inhabited by robots for centuries, their human creators have gone extinct long ago, most of the robots of the mechanical metropolis Eden 3 don’t even believe humans ever actually existed. Most consider them as creatures of myth.
On an otherwise normal day, two ordinary farming robots heading to the fields stumble across a cryogenic pod containing a young human girl. In a world that is definitively not ready for human reintegration, the two secretly raise Sara into young adulthood, opposed along the way by the horrifyingly ominous-looking Zero and his army of black and red robot soldiers.
Netflix has released a trailer on October 23, along with a short description, “Thousands of years into the future, there are no more humans. Only robots live in the mechanical metropolis, “Eden 3”. Or so they thought… One day, two farming robots find a young human girl in the city. The decision they make will change everything.” Eden is scheduled to release worldwide, and will not be aired in Japan first. All subscribers will have access to Eden at the same time.
